B737 NG CBT - FMS - DESCENT

This course describes the Fight Management System use of the descent mode and includes the following; a review of the different descent modes such as speed, path, RTA and manual speed descents. How the early descent mode is entered and controls both speed and path. VNAV descent modes of path and speed descents to include altitude restrictions and the effects of unforecast winds on the descent mode. Courses are constantly monitored and updated when major changes in authority documentation is released.
