The functions and operations of the autopilot and the flight director. A discussion of the Mode Control Panel and the Flight Mode Annunciator. The engagement and disengagement process and indications of the Autopilot and the Flight Director. A review of the Autothrottle systems to include the modes of operation and the Thrust Reference Mode Annunciation.
